Since June 201, the Southeast Iowa Inter-Agency Drug Task Force, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office and Albia Police Department, have been investigating people purchasing pseudoephedrine which is used in the manufacture of methamphetamine.
According to Monroe County Sheriff Dan Johnson, the following people have been charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine more than five grams, a Class B felony:
Teresa Denherder, 44, Albia; Melinda Schultz, 42, Albia, Robert Tangie, 45, Albia; Scott Merrill, 48, Albia; Rebecca Pinegar, 40, Moravia; Kevin Tangie, 45, rural Albia; Tammy Reed, 44, Albia; Shawn See, 37, Albia; Dianna VanWardhuizen, 55, Lovilia; Teresa Gilbert, 43, Lovilia; Rhonda McGee, 50, Albia; Richard VanWardhuisen, 42, Lovilia; Sean Crawford, 44.
There is an outstanding arrest warrant for Douglas Maddy, 48, Albia. If anyone has information regarding the investigation or the whereabouts of Maddy, contact the monroe County Sheriff’s Office at 641-932-7815 or the SE Iowa Inter-Agency Drug Task Force, 641-683-0668.
There are more arrests expected as the investigation continues.
