Debra Ann Clark, 54, of Evansdale, passed away peacefully on Friday, Jan. 3, 2020 at the Cedar Valley Hospice House in Waterloo.
She was born on April 4, 1965 to Bobbie and Dorothy Walker. Deb grew up in the country between Albia and Blakesburg before moving to Blakesburg in 1979.
Deb was employed by Viking Pump in Cedar Falls where she was about to celebrate 25 years. Through her job she became involved in United Way and House of Hope and also had recently became a Big Sister through the Big Brother/Big Sister program where she enjoyed spending time with the kids.
Deb enjoyed fishing and camping but really loved mushroom hunting. Deb had a deep love for her family and friends and tried to spend as much time with them as she could. She really enjoyed the Blakesburg Corn Carnival where she almost always ran into an old friend.
Deb is survived by her loving husband Jeff of 35 years; brothers Mike (Heather) Walker of Blakesburg and Jeff (Treena) Walker of Blakesburg; and sister Dori (Brandon) Otey of Oskaloosa and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bobbie and Dorothy; and a brother Bill.
Per Deb’s wishes she has been cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2020 at 11:30 a.m., at the Blakesburg United Methodist Church in Blakesburg.
Memorials may be made to the Cedar Valley Hospice House or to the family.
