Albia A

There were six unanimous first team All South Central Conference players named to the softball team and Albia had three of them. The SCC champions placed three on the first team including Jena Lawrence, a junior pitcher, Alex Beard, a junior catcher and Kennedy Schroeder, a senior shortstop.

Reina Taylor, an EBF senior pitcher and outfielder was also a unanimous first team pick, as was Bailea Yahnke, a Davis County senior outfielder and Emery Neer, a Knoxville senior outfielder.

Other first team picks were Ashlyn Oehlert, Clarke, senior shortstop, Claire Matthews, Centerville, sophomore third baseman, Emma Lenox, EBF sophomore outfielder and Alexis Watson, Clarke, junior pitcher.

Earning second team All SCC honors were Makenna Ross, Albia, junior first baseman, MacKenna Jones, Albia, sophomore pitcher/utility, Alex Griggs, Knoxville, senior outfielder, Maddy Findley, Knoxville, junior third baseman, Madysen Wade, EBF, junior third baseman, Rylee German, EBF, freshman catcher, Sophia Young, Davis County, eighth grade outfielder, Emma Bolton, Clarke, sophomore first baseman, Macy Johnston, Chariton, seninor catcher, and Taylor Shinn, Centerville, junior outfielder.
