The Albia Junior League will begin their 22nd annual season on Monday, June 3 at 8 a.m. at the Albia Golf Club.

The league has general guidelines which allow juniors from ages 5 through 15 to compete in six different age divisions that include eight weeks of league play and their Junior League Championship on July 29. The high school golf teams are encouraged to play and teach or just go along with the groups to teach each week. Parent volunteers go along with groups each week to teach etiquette and aspects of the game.

There is no advance registration required. League registration will occur the first day of league play and the cost is $15 per junior golfer. League golfers are required to be part of a family golf membership or purchase their own season-long junior membership for $110.

Any questions regarding the Junior League or questions about weekly cancellations due to rain can be directed to Mike Duea by calling or texting 641-777-6997.

The results of the previous 21 years are posted on albiajuniorgolf.com.
