The Albia Blue Demon Archers hosted the final regular season tournament last Saturday. This is the last tournament before the final state rankings come out. The elementary team has been in the top three of the state all year. The high school and middle school teams are both top 10 teams going into the last weekend. After this tournament, we will be selecting our state tournament teams.

Last weekend’s tournament had teams from Eddyville-Blakesburg Fremont, Ottumwa Christian, Chariton, Ottumwa, North Mahaska, Cardinal and Iowa Christian Academy.

In 3D the ACHS team shot a 1617 and finished 2nd out of four. The Middle School team shot a 1559 and finished second out of three. The Elementary team shot a 1480 for 1st out of two teams. With these scores there is a good chance of sending all to state.
