The Monroe County Supervisors will see their suit regarding blocking firearms from being brought into the Monroe County Courthouse in court on Friday, June 11 at 9:30 a.m. The hearing is open to the public and will be held at the Monroe County Courthouse.

The case is looking at whether the supervisors should follow the direction of the Iowa Supreme Court or the Iowa legislature in the question of whether firearms are allowed in buildings that also house court offices. There are court offices on all three floors of the Monroe County Courthouse.
