Nine ACHS FFA members advance to districts

After a couple date changes due to weather, the Albia FFA Chapter recently participated in the Sub-District Leadership contests held at Moulton-Udell High School.  Twelve members competed live in person with nine of those members advancing to district competition.

The Conduct of Meetings team of Rebecca Hatfield, Trell Amoss, Brayden Reed, Reganne Eads, Carter Kosman, Sayler Rozenboom, and Brianna Wolfer received a Gold rating and advanced to District contests.

Stephanie Beary participated in Prepared Public Speaking and received a Bronze rating.  Isaac Schroeder competed in the Ag Sales contest receiving a Silver rating.  Ellie Cloyed received a Gold rating in Ag Broadcasting and advanced to districts.  Janelle Clark also received a Gold rating and advanced to district competition in Creed Speaking.

The chapter had four members participate in the Chapter Quiz event held online prior to the live event.  Stephanie Beary and Brayton Striegel both received Gold ratings and were the top two scores overall respectfully.  McKenna Striegel and Ellie Cloyed both received Silver ratings.

Ten Greenhand members participated online in the Greenhand Quiz event.  Janelle Clark, Trell Amoss, Cali Stocker, and Rebecca Hatfield all received Gold ratings and were the top 4 scores respectfully in the event.  Silver ratings were awarded to Sayler Rozenboom, Reganne Eads, Brayden Reed, and Brianna Wolfer.  Carter Kosman and Tray Murphy received Bronze Ratings.
