Another round of snow possible on New Year's Day

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for portions of central Iowa on Thursday and Friday.

Areas included are Adams-Union-Clarke-Lucas-Monroe-Wapello-Taylor-Ringgold-Decatur-Wayne-Appanoose-Davis.

Tonight locally dense fog will be possible. Accumulating snow will be around 1 to 3 inches on Friday, with the greatest amounts far southeast areas. Light icing will be possible too across the far southeast.
