Ray Alvin Morgan was ushered into the Kingdom of Heaven Oct. 4, 2021. Ray lived a long life of loving others well. He was a very kind and simple man with a joy and light in him that was undeniable. His love for Jesus and his family is his legacy.

Ray was born in Albia, Iowa to Lawrence and Rose Morgan on April 7, 1940. He lived in Albia until his early adult years when he moved to California where he later met his wife June (Junie). Ray and June were married on April Fool's Day 1972 and shared a life of many laughs and much love together.

Ray and June had a daughter, April, in 1973 and moved to Albia in 1978. Ray and June lived in Albia until moving to Carlisle in 2011 to be closer to April and her family. It was a great joy for Ray and June to live closer to their grandchildren and watch them grow.

Ray is survived by his daughter April and son-in-love Joe White, his grandchildren Patricia (Justin) Lee, Austin and Ashton White, three great-grandchildren Josh, Harleigh, and Willabelle Lee, and many others who loved him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his beloved Junie, his parents, and his brother Roy.

Ray will be greatly missed. While we grieve, we celebrate knowing he is exactly where he belongs.

Condolences and cards to the family may be made out to April White and sent to Lighthouse Community Church at 7705 Indianola Ave. Des Moines, IA 50320.
